High Key

High Key, originally uploaded by Harry Sewell.

This shot was taken by Jessica

strobist: 430EX bounced of white wall to my right. Vivitar 285 @ 1/2 power through a cereal box snoot

I did take some of Jess but she found it more difficult to keep her eyes open whilst dumping a pint of water on her head, hence why I processed a shot of myself

My co-ordination sucks, my timing was all off - I have lots of awesome shots which consist of just a rather peaceful glass

Smoking chair

Smoking chair, originally uploaded by Harry Sewell.

saw this on the Lighting Mods Blog and thought I would give it a go.

I had lent my tripod to someone so had to try and capture these shots hand held. This was imensely difficult as using manual focus with no tripod on something such as smoke aint much fun.

The smoke is from an incense stick and man did they hum, I have a headache now as a result.

strobist: 285 @ 1/2 power through a cereal box snoot camera left.

430EX camera right @ 1/2 power through a wierd semi snoot type thing

If you look closely it resembles a face (honest)

Another shot, this time not inverted.

This is one of those things that you simply have to do!
This was not at all edited in photoshop, I merely increased the contrast and clarity via lightroom.

Englands lost Desert

England's lost Desert, originally uploaded by Harry Sewell.

View On Black

Dungeness is the only desert in the Uk,

It is also the largest expanse of shingle in the entire world,

It also apparently has the worlds smallest passenger railway (so said the menu in 'The Pilot")
